HI! my name is Jeremy Wapachee I'm from Ouje- Bougoumou,Quebec, Canada. Ouje-Bougoumou is located 600 miles north of Montreal. I'm in secondary 2 and I'm 14 years old.
I like playing basketball, my favorite team is the Chicago Bulls and my favorite player is Micheal Jordan, I say he's the best. I also like hockey, my favorite hockey team is the Pittsburgh Penguins and my favorite hockey player is Mario Lemieux, but he retired from the NHL. I also enjoy playing volleyball for the Ouje-Bougoumou school team. I also like playing baseball, but I don't really play on a team I like being the outfielder. I play floor hockey with other students in the evening.
I have three brothers and three sisters, all my grandparents are deceased I'm the youngest in my family, I have a mother and father, I have four uncles, and five aunts. I don't have many relatives here in Ouje-Bougoumou, but I have a lot in Nemaska, and also in Mistissini. I have two nephews, and no neices my younger nephew is Malachi. The older one is name is Chiwetin which means North Wind, in CREE.
At first Ouje-Bougoumou was like a big dump, we lived in tents, then we lived in cabins, cheap houses, all of which were old shacks. but now it has really changed, we now live in houses. We won an award for human settlement from the united nations in new york city.
Soon there's going to be a recreation center (Arena) in Ouje-Bougoumou and they are paving more roads. Ouje-Bougoumou now has a basketball court and a tennis court and they have already built a place for roller blading. They have already built a new parking lot for the recreation center (Arena)
