I am a Cree "Eenou" who resides in a community called Oujé Bougoumou, one of the 9 cree communities in the cree territory. My Community is situated 700 km north of Montreal. I am 16 years old and attend school at Waaphitiiwewan School, I am in Grade10.

I live with both of my parents and I have brother who is 6 years old and a sister who is 3 months old. I work at Casey's Gas Depanneur, a local store here in Oujé Bougoumou. I have a dog named Rockland, he is a Chinese Shar-pei.

There may not be a theater, malls, bars or amusement parks but Oujé Bougoumou is all that!! You don't have to worry about being mugged but you have to watch out for rabbed wolves. Just Kidding!!!!

I don't really have an exciting life but I have moved around a lot. I lived in a Cree community called Waswanipi for 4 years and moved to Ottawa for 3 years and now I reside in Oujé Bougoumou. My hobbies are listening to music, reading traveling and doing a lot of things to do to keep myself occupied. I've been to many concerts such as, Ozzy Osbourne, Bon Jovi, Meat Loaf, Aerosmith and Tina Turner. My interests for the future is to finish school and get a job that would serve my people.

Oujé Bougoumou is called "Beverly Hills North" from the people down south. Oujé Bougoumou may not be all exciting for me, but if you visit, it would be a whole new world.

Ouje Bougoumou " A Place Where People Gather" is a beautiful place to visit. You are more than welcome to to attend our festivals, visit as tourist or spend a night at the Cultural Village. Ouje Bougoumou is a place for a perfect get away!!!!
