Deuteronomy 6:5

Respect the Lord your God . You must worship him and make your promises only in his name .

Do what the Lord says is good and right so that thing go well for you . Then you may go in and take the good land the Lord promised to your ancestors . He will force all your enemies out as you go in , as the Lord has said .

Deuteronomy 6:18-19

Everything starts with love .
" LOVE IS THE GREATEST GIFT "

And I will show you the best way of all . I may speak in different languages of people or even angels . But if you do not have love , I am only a noisy bell or a crashing cymbal . I may have the gift of prophecy . I may understand all the secret things of God and have all knowledge , and I may have faith so great I can move mountains . But even with all these things , if I do not have love , then I am nothing . I may give everything I have , and I may even give as an offering to be burned . But I gain nothing if I do not have love .

Love is patient and kind . Love is not jealous , it does not brag , and it is not proud . Love is not rude , is not selfish , and does not get upset with others . Love does not count up wrongs that have been done . Love is not happy with evil but is happy with the truth . Love patiently accepts all things . It always trust , always hopes , and always remain strong .

" Love never ends . . . " 1 Corinthians 13:1-8

So these three things continue forever ; FAITH , HOPE , and LOVE . And the greatest of these is LOVE.

1 Corinthians 13:13

Fruits of the spirit " The Spirit and human nature "

So I tell you : Live by following the Spirit . Then you will not do what your sinful selves want . our sinful selves want what is against the Spirit , and the Spirit wants what is against our sinful selves . The two are against each other , so you cannot do just what you please . But if the Spirit is leading you , you are not under the law .

The wrong things sinful self do are clear : Being sexually unfaithful , not being pure , taking part in sexual sins , worshiping gods , doing witchcraft , hating , making trouble , being jealous , being angry , being selfish , making people angry with each other , causing division among people , feeling envy , being drunk , having wild and wasteful parties , and doing other things like these . I warn you now as I warned you before : Those who do these thing will not inherit God's kingdom . But the Spirit produces the fruit of LOVE , JOY , PEACE , PATIENCE , KINDNESS , GOODNESS , FAITHFULNESS , GENTLENESS , SELF-CONTROL . There is no law that says these thing are wrong . Those who belong to Christ Jesus have crucified their own sinful selves . They have given up their old selfish feelings and the evil things they wanted to do . We get our new life from the Spirit , so we should follow the spirit . We must not be proud or make trouble with each other or be jealous with each other .

Galatians 5:16-26

Jesus said unto him , I am the way , the truth , and the life : no men cometh unto the father , but by me .
