On July 26,2000 the Computer Science Camp and the Counsellor Varley, We went to visit the Bruneau Mine, It is a Gold mine, But now it isclosed and they use it for tourists and made a museum out of it,we were given a tour by the Tour Guide. She was very talkive and very friendly. It was cold and dark, It was frightening and we saw bats, I was afraid the Gold Mine would fall apart. We saw a painting on a big rock it was a woman with her gold braclet , necklace and very elegant color and designed dress. The painting descibe as a woman who would show off her jewellery and there was a slave next to her on the picture and he would hold her gold, and to be made into more jewellery for her. As we went into the mine we were told to dress up like miners, It was an experience, like your working there and we saw alot of different kind of fascinating and scary things as we went into the mine. We had a great and fun time at the museum and the trip back home.Click here to see the picture
